Jeff,

I want to post a blog with your amazing metal playlist from the trip can you recap it for me?

Fun time man, you did great.  See you this weekend!

SUBJECT: Sure Thing

It all started with a little Cinderella.  “Gypsy Road” off of “Long Cold Winter”. These guys are still the best live band from that whole era (not counting Bon Jovi, because they have somehow managed to overcome the “glam/Hair rock” tag, which they are the ONLY band really to do so.  remeber….Two kinds of people….)

Dangerous Toys, “Guilty” off of their self titled debut.  Came a little to late to the game to really get into it, but a great record all the same… still out there touring.

Enuff Z ‘Nuff -  “The New Thing” .  The Beatles of the Glam era! ‘nuff said.
Scorpions - “Biig City Nights” - one of the very rare glam era bands that was allowed to be imported from outside the states.  Remember foreign countries only got one chance (ambassador)  Finland sent Hanoi Rocks (well done!), Sweden sent Europe (not bad.)  Russia sent Gorky Park (who? right.  not so good) and Germany sent the Scorpions! who although being from germany, astounded americans with their knowledge of hurricanes (thus winning us over).

Love/Hate - “Blackout in the Red Room”.  Singers name:  Jizzy Pearl.  Too great a name to go as unnoticed as it did.
Vixen - Edge of a Broken Heart”  Only all female glam band that really had a hit. Good song.  Rikki Rockett from Poison co-wrote wome of their stuff.  He was most likely bangin’ one of them.

Firehouse - “Don’t Treat Me Bad” -  Everyone knows this is a good song! Everyone also knows that it’s a major reason why Glam died.  They were from North Carolina…  what had ever come out of N.C. that was considered ‘fresh” or “relevant” or even “interesting”.

Hope this helps….
